The Violet Ocean is a large dangerous sea region located to the south of Sokara and Golnir, and north of the southern continent Ankon-Konu. It is located somewhat in the center of the Fabled Lands known world, and is full of dangers such as pirates and storms. The Violet Ocean is the region represented in the Blood-Dark Ocean book. It has several large island locations of note, a number of uncharted islands, and a vast and often difficult-to-navigate central water body. Perhaps the most notable locations in this region are Sorcerer's Isle, home of Dweomer and the Mage's College, and the Unnumbered Isles, home of the Reaver Pirate base.
